Hello to all of our wonderful clients, We sincerely hope you are all doing well and coping throughout all of the changes that 2020 has handed us. We are sad to say that Amberlea Aquatics is closing, after 13 years in business. Our parents are selling their house so we will no longer be able to operate. With that being said, in the past I have had a lot of inquiries about our house, I figured I would share the listing in case any of you are looking for a new place. After many weeks of waiting and trying to figure out if we are able to run our aquatics program this year, we have made the decision to remain closed for this summer. We are very sad that we won't be able to provide aquatics lessons for our clients, however, we just feel that there are too many restrictions in place still to safely and effectively teach lessons to our many clients. Our number one priority is safety - for us, our family, and your families too! Outdoor free swi...m pools are open with many social distancing and safety measures in place, but rec centres remain closed and are providing extensive training to their staff before re-opening for aquatics and other programs. We do not feel as though it is responsible to open while the other aquatics programs remain closed and do not run this summer. We are sorry that we can't see all of you and continue to provide lessons for our clients this year. This decision is not something that we have taken lightly. We take great pride in our program and would rather operate when we are able to with the same safety and effectiveness that we have done for the last 13 years! We will remain hopeful that we will be able to open back up again next summer and continue providing our program to our many clients! And just like that, another summer at Amberlea Aquatics has come to an end! We want to extend a huge thank all of our clients (returning and new) for a great summer filled with sun and swim lessons! We had an awesome year and taught over 200 children to be safe in the water and improve their skills! We are so incredibly thankful for all of our clients who chose AMBERLEA AQUATICS as their swim lesson provider! After 12 years of teaching swimming we are still going strong, and will be back for another year next summer! :) - Alexa & Sara

We had many proud swimmers today at the end of our second session! These two are 3 and 6 years old and they got their sunfish and Level 5 badges this week! 3 year old Kaitlyn took her first swim lesson earlier this year, and this week was able to swim all the way from the shallow end to the deep end, taking breaths on her own! Unbelievable progress! 6 year old Jessica was able to learn to do a standing dive and the whip kick on her back!... They are a prime example of why it is SO important to put your kids in swim lessons as early as possible so they become comfortable and confident in the water!

A message for our returning and new clients: WOW! After 1 busy week of registrations we are almost completely full for the summer! What was once a small backyard swim school with a few clients, has now turned into a much bigger business, than we could have ever imagined - teaching more than 200 kids important swim skills and water safety each summer!... Thank you so much for everyone's patience and understanding during this last week! After sending my initial registration email we received over 150 registration requests within the first few hours! It took time to go through and respond to everyone in the order that the emails were received, to ensure we kept things fair for everyone requesting a spot. We truly apologize to anyone who missed out this year or was not able to secure the spot they were hoping for. We really appreciate everyone's support and dedication to our company and are so excited for another amazing swim season! - Alexa & Sara

Hey swimmers!! We are just finalizing our schedule and pricing for the 2019 swim season and will be sending our registration email within the next week so stay tuned! :)

Update for our valued customers: Due to Covid19 we have decided to delay our summer registration for the time being. I will send an update towards the end of April to begin registrations. Even though we are unsure if we will be able to operate this summer, we will still proceed with our usual registrations and in the event that we are able to operate this summer we will have everything ready to go. Stay tuned for more information in the next few weeks!

Amberlea Aquatics will be running our summer swim program again in the months of June, July and August 2020! The initial registration email will likely go out end of March, stay tuned for more info!

Absolutely devastated to hear this tragic news about clients of ours. Caleb and Sophia have been coming to Amberlea Aquatics for lessons for the last 5 years. Our hearts go out to the Megan family Please share & support a local Pickering family who are so giving and devoted to helping others, and now they could really use help during this difficult time.
