Please take a few minutes to complete this online survey: Albertans are invited to share feedback by April 6 to help us improve safety for Alberta’s highway maintenance workers. Overview... We are gathering input on ways we can improve safety for Albertans whose job involves working on the side of the road or in a slower moving vehicle, such as a snowplow. Between 2014 and 2018, there were 2,229 injuries involving workers being struck by a vehicle in Alberta. There were also around 30 collisions per year involving snowplows. First responders, tow truck operators and construction crews are currently protected under the Traffic Safety Act, while highway maintenance workers, such as snowplow operators, are not.

Ask More. Listen More. The Do More Agriculture Foundation envisions a culture in Agriculture where all producers are encouraged, empowered and supported to take care of their mental well being. Do More Ag is helping to realize this culture in agriculture by creating awareness about mental health and breaking the stigma that currently exists while building a community of support and resources for those impacted and affected. We will help all producers realize they are not alone and they have an entire industry behind them.

Inspired by true events, SILO follows a harrowing day in an American farm town. Disaster strikes when teenager Cody Rose is entrapped in a 50-foot-tall grain bin. When the corn turns to quicksand, family, neighbors and first responders must put aside their differences to rescue Cody from drowning in the crop that has sustained their community for generations. Join AgSafe Alberta tomorrow, January 19, for a special virtual event for SILO, the first-ever feature film about a grain entrapment. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/agsafe-alberta-presents-silo-t
