HAPPY NEW YEAR, Farmers' Market Lovers! This past year was certainly a year of unknowns when it came to understanding how to operate farmers markets under these unprecedented circumstances, implementing never before required guidelines and navigating the many obstacles that were thrown our way. Fortunately, we were all in it together! Through teamwork and with determination, we learned a lot and pulled through the season really well, all things considered. We even started ...two brand new markets (Brentwood and the Winter Market in West Vancouver). This Nov. 18 event is titled "Climate Friendly Livestock Farming Virtual Field Day"... Beaver Meadow Farms is a third generation farm that has been operated by the Smith family for over 80 years. They use a natural system of farming which has earned the farm the Certified Organic Producer (#03-16-198). The farm is now also SPCA Certified, and certified Salmon Safe.
