Camouflage Owl - what a HOOT painting this little guy. 10X20. Oil on Canvas.
"POPPY - PRETTY IN PINK" 24X24 oil on canvas. Just completed.
I am Caribbean born, the islands are in my DNA. I am posting these to honour my heritage and to celebrate and honour Black History month. Each piece tells a story. The vibrant market scenes are those I remember as a child doing our shopping on a Saturday morning. The little girl in her yellow dress was painted in memory or the horrible earthquake in Haiti years ago. Her name is Hope - the name of the painting Out of the Rubble Hope - The brother tying his little sister’s shoes is titled Family Ties and then Grandmas’ Creole Bread
"ZEN" - 15X30 Oil on Canvas
My newest piece. "15 LEFT"
I think I would like to title this one "SMILE" - at least for the time being. 12X24

A couple years ago I visited Nova Scotia. I took tons of pictures and used some as material for my paintings. This is a painting done of the grappling hooks they use to get the lobster pots. This is from a picture I took at Peggy's cove. Although they are grappling hooks I call this piece "Anchors Ashore"
