I have put some thought into hanging up the flashlight but at this point I do not think the time is right. Yup, you are stuck with me for a while longer. Glenn will soon be handling the day-to-day operation and I will inspect part-time and maintain ownership. You can count on our normal high-quality inspections and attention to client satisfaction. He provided me with information on a number of things such as what to look for with the furnace, grounding, and foundation cracks, as well as educating me on the importance or non-importance of others. Basement walls 100% finished but probed and snooped..... but it was true: the house had a wooden foundation. Approximate life of a wood foundation is 50 years and they are vulnerable to water and insect damage. House was already 30 years old. That, folks, is why you should have a home inspection."
