Me again!!! I know, I know... another plug to this awesome show on Feb 15th! But seriously, you guys.... Have you seen the lineup?? This talented group and I,... yes me! got asked to be a part of it!! I just have a few questions.... How many of you enjoy live music? How many of you pay hundreds of dollars to see an artist that you love for a 1 hour show?! How many of you own a LOCAL business and really LOVE when your customers support you??? I'm sure there are many of you who are answering YES to these questions. As indie artists trying to make a living in this crazy roller coaster of a musicians life, we are doing the exact same thing at trying to build our business or our brand. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!! We love performing and we would do it to a group of friends who hear us all the time, BUT we would much rather play to a packed house of 175 people!! This is an annual show... ONLY once per year!! And not only are you supporting myself in my journey, but you're also giving the other incredible performers motivation to keep doing what we all love. To entertain!!! 8 DIFFERENT artists..... Yup! I said 8.... and for 3 hours! Say what?!! And tickets are only $25 right now!! They will go up if you wait to purchase at the door ($5 extra...still a great deal) Your support for local indie musicians is one of the reasons we keep doing what we do. For the love of the sound, the fruition of creating a song and bringing it to life on stage and having YOU experience it all with us, is something that is indescribable. If you didnt know... Glenn Marais is a JUNO NOMINEE , Manny D is the most sought after (and busiest) bass player in all of york region. The amazing George St. Kitts who starred in the Ed Mirvish Theatre production of the Lion King! Randy Brethour the guitar master , Ryan Ainsworth brings you his mad skills with a bluesy/rock tone. Legendary harmonica by Jerome Godboo and many more!.... oh and keys by the incredible Jesse Karwat (who plays with I Mother Earth .. no big deal ) Jeff Saulnier keeping us all in check with his impeccable timing behind the kit. And me.... the country/rock girl just trying to contain myself on this stage with all this uber talent! Seriously, have I convinced you yet?!! $25 dollars for 8 unbelievable artists!! Its Family Day weekend..... So I say...go tobogganing in the morning, then finish the beautiful night off with a cold beer (Yes its licensed! ) listening to the sounds from some of the most passionate musicians around.
