Tomorrow, March 1, our adopted prisoner Huseyin Celil marks his 50th birthday in a prison in China. We continue to urge the government of China to free Huseyin on humanitarian grounds and allow him to return home to his family in Canada. We will be taking action on his behalf at our next meeting, Monday March 4. 7PM at 1570 Main St West

Our next meeting is Monday Feb 4. Among other things we will be marking the 50th birthday of Huseyin Celil, our adopted prisoner. Huseyin’s birthday is March 1st, and we hope this will be the last birthday he spends in a Chinese prison. 1570 Main St West, starting at 7PM

Reminder that we will not meet in January. Our December Write 4 Rights events were a great success, with 577 letters and cards sent. Hope to see everyone in February.
