Did you know that the Charlottetown City Council approved, last month, asphalt and concrete plants within the city on Sherwood Road? You may not, as they did not feel it was necessary to get public input. This will have a variety of consequences, such as: 1. Negative impact to property values in many parts of Charlottetown... 2. Noise pollution as Charlottetown will be impacted by the noise from increased truck traffic 3. Air pollution from smokestacks and dust 4. Tourist’s first impression as it will be the first thing visitors will see as they leave the airport. There is an upcoming public meeting Wednesday, July 10 at 7pm at the West Royalty Community Centre (1 Kirkdale Drive, Charlottetown. Please come and let your voice be heard. If you cannot attend, please contact your MLAs and/or city council. For more information, please contact me or [email protected]
Join us Tuesday, July 9 to support Lynne Lund's amendment to the Climate Leadership Act.

Our watersheds are so important and so often overlooked. Kudos to these hardworking folks who devote their time and energy to maintaining the health of our precious waterways.
My letter appeared in The Guardian today:
Do you have any 4-5 inch diameter PVC pipe lying around? We are looking for 25 approximately 2 ft lengths of pipe to use as predator guards on our nest boxes. If you have some that you’d like to get rid of, let us know or drop it in to our office!
Such an amazing team.

I had been lucky that my signs hadn’t been stolen or damaged during the election. However, while retrieving signs today (saving them for next time, of course!) I came across my first vandalized sign. How disappointing. #peipoli
