My heart breaks...no~that's too sweet and disingenuous. My heart is right pissed off when I read about a newborn with corona virus separated from its parents for treatment. WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK!! It is common knowledge in 2020 that love and comfort are a huge part of healing. Who's idea is this to increase trauma for this family? Antibodies contained in breastmilk are well known and have sooo many benefits!!! Everything in me hopes this is just bad reporting and the details ...are incorrect. It's flu season and that's normal. It is hard when our littles get sick but let's not make it harder that it needs to be!!! Mamas and papas with little ones, hug them close, feed them all the nutrients (and antibodies if you're nursing). Remind them that their bodies want to be well and that you are with them #attachmentparenting #advocates
