Happy Friday! Joy and I would like to take a moment to thank you all for your enthusiasm and contribution to the Amplify fund. Our mutual passion for this art form is what connects us. It's truly moving to see us come together from all over to help give someone a chance to be part of these traditions. This fund is about creating opportunities where there are none available. From our bottoms and our hearts thank you so much for showing compassion and kindness to our future generation Joy Rider & Miss.Enchanté

We are hosting a show fundraiser on April 23rd at the Wiggle Room. The show will feature an ALL BIPOC cast representing the different ways burlesque can be expressed! We will be donating all of our producer profits to the scholarship fund and will also be selling tickets for a prize worth over $500! Can’t make it to the show? It’s OK! You can still show your support by contributing to this gofundme! https://www.gofundme.com/f/montreal-bipoc-burlesque-scholar

The Cutie Pies Joy Rider & Miss Enchanté are proud to present the AMPLIFY BIPOC Burlesque fund! Created in partnership with Arabesque Burlesque Academy this fund will encourage BIPOC students to learn the art of burlesque. Our goal is to be able to raise enough funds to provide scholarships to support BIPOC students to take the progressive burlesque class of their choice! . .... . This art form has given us the opportunity to take control of our narratives and showcase our bodies on our own terms. It has helped us to love ourselves more, make incredible friends and create art to share with the world! We want to welcome more BIPOC people like us into the burlesque community. The two of us graduated from Arabesque Burlesque and have since made so many community connections and found opportunities as performers. We think it is important that BIPOC are able to access high quality burlesque education that honours our art form. For many reasons BIPOC artists face multiple obstacles in the burlesque community. We want to try and tackle one of these obstacles by providing financial support for new BIPOC burlesque artists! Thank you and lots of love! Joy Rider &. Miss Enchanté
