I’m a couple of weeks late. On this past November 26th marked the 3 year anniversary of the shop being open. It’s been great. I can’t express my gratitude for all the people that allow us to work on your cars and trucks. I truly is an honour. We will continue to do our best to keep going during this strange time. Here’s to next year and seeing what develops. Thanks again everyone.
Well got the 408 done for Brock. Just in the Knick of time. Thanks for making the trip out.
Looking for a set of big chevy valve covers. Fabbed aluminium. Preferred not polished. Let me know what you have for sale.
Looking for a stock trans pan for a glide. In nice shape. No I don’t want a chrome one.
X final at the Sweet 16.... RTCTTMFF!!!
Awhile back I had to hide an intercooler in @genest19 68 Camaro. Well just got it back from @vintageironcoachwerks sheeted in and painted. Danny did an amazing job as usual. Looks unreal.
Is there anyone out there that has a 68-69 Camaro with the wiper motor out of it? Or the wiper motor crank arm handy? If someone could post a pic or two of the arm that would be great. And is there any stamped letters on it? Mine has "AA" stamped on it and I'm not sure its correct for this car.
Is there anyone around that can do some photo shop for me? I’m trying to put different wheels and ride height on a car. Please let me know. Thanks.
Thanks for the help everyone. Max is on his way home in 20 minutes.
Anyone in the area of Tamke Road and Highway 11 missing a dog? He’s super friendly and good company. Contact me if anyone knows who he belongs too. Has a Tile GPS tracker on his collar. I have no idea how it works. If someone can figure out how to use it that would be awesome.
Well took the weekend off to go racing in Swift Current. The people down there are always awesome. Thanks to Brian and Mike who put the race together. Huge thanks to Danny Gruber and Brenda Johns Audit Vintage Iron Coachwerks for making the trip possible. I could never do it without you guys. Thanks also to Apex Rod & Restoration and Outlaw Metal Fabrication for helping me out whenever I needed it. The AMPP crew had a great weekend. Saturday Justin Heroux won the 10.0 index... class in the Cutlass and runner up in pro. Keith Heroux went out fourth round of pro, in the 67 Buick. I won the 275 class, and the car made some of the best passes it ever has. Best ET for the weekend was 8.65. Best MPH was 161.4. All in all was a great time. Lots of racing, lots of laughs. Seeing some of my people from other cities and Provences is always good. Thanks again SCDRA you guys put together a fun race.
Went for a drive with Ryan today in his TT Camaro. Did some tuning and some testing to get it working good. Pulls really good at 7 psi.
It’s a 40, spline kind of morning.
Well it’s done. The 68 C10 is off to a new home. Huge thanks to Danny Gruber and his talents at Vintage Iron Coachwerks. It’s crazy how good the paint looks. The hand made box floor is mind blowing. Ron at RD Design for the interior. It’s truly an honour to work with people of this skill level.
Calvert Racing giving the old tank some love.
Happy birthday to 2017 #OUSCI competitor, Brock Makin!
This is so true.
Not very often a automobile like this 55 Caddy shows up at your door. Brake work, and some electrical repairs, and back on the road. What a cool old car. Has options that auto makers today brag about. Like automatic headlights. Yes, it has automatic headlights. Crazy.
All you drag racers get your cars ready.
This is the reality of the real tragedy happening right now.
This super clean Chevelle is on its way home today. Got some electrical gremlins fixed up, rebuilt the cylinder heads, rebuilt the carb, and some fab work on the rear suspension. Thanks to Vintage Iron Coachwerks for the body work and the repaint on the rear valance. Colour match of the factory Cranberry Red is perfect. This is a real deal, numbers matching engine and transmission 70 Chevelle SS 396, 4 gear car. One of 384 cars ever built optioned like this one. A piece of Automotive history. Was a pleasure to get to work on it. We will be seeing it again in the fall to continue the quest to make this car show room again.
Anybody out there have a 727 core for BBD? Contact me or Trevor Sarauer please.
Anyone looking for some nitrous refills? I have a mother bottle still that I need to empty to send back. Let me know. 222-2796.
LS crank wheel swap today. This one was welded, but it was too late. It had already slipped, and the rivets were welded. One didn’t hold and the wheel separated. Installed a one piece billet wheel from CBM Motorsports. Tacked on with TIG.
Solid bottom end for sale, or complete. Your choice of cylinder heads. This engine, in a 71 Camaro, went 10.30’s at 133 mph on some spray. I would imagine the nitrous system is available as well.
Love this video.
In need of 24 of -4 Earls pro lite hose. Please let me know if you have any to spare. 222-2796. Thanks
Can someone please explain to me what the benefit is for me to be collecting PST, and not paying it when I buy parts, just to do a bunch of paperwork and waste time????
Words to live by.
Does anyone know anybody that is close to Fitchberg Wisconsin. Text or call me please.
We will be closed from now until tomorrow afternoon. Off to Calgary to pick up some engine parts. I apologize for any inconvenience. Call or text if you need anything.
Does anyone out there in Facebook land have a E38 PCM 2009 and up. Preferably from a truck with a 6.2??? Denali, Escalade, or fancy 1/2 ton.
Just in case anyone was wondering how fast you can go on a 315 radial or a 10.5w. Have a gander at this.
Is there anyone coming to Saskatoon from Regina between Saturday night and Monday? I need a cam brought up from Gee Automotive Performance. Let me know please. 306-222-2796. Thanks
Is there anyone north of the border a Motion Raceworks dealer? Need some stuff.
Does anyone have a tumbler cleaner that I can use for an experiment?
So many people ask why car enthusiasts spend so much money and time on our vehicles. Well, it's for the same reason you go out clubbing or clothes shopping; we love it. Some of the best things about getting introduced to cars are the new places, new friends, and great memories that last forever. To be honest, 90% of the time our cars are maintained to a better standard than most vehicles we share the road with, but because we have above loud exhausts, or anything that makes u...s stand out from a regular car, we are deemed dangerous drivers. When in fact, we are probably some of the safest due to not wanting to damage something we've worked so hard on. Our cars are an extension of ourselves - not just a piece of metal we use to get from A to B. Countless hours under the hood, smashed knuckles, snapped tools, empty bank accounts, and more swearing than anyone could imagine is all worth it when that key goes into the ignition. I'm proud to be a car enthusiast regardless of what anyone thinks of myself or my car and will continue to have a passion for them till the day I'm gone. Copy and post with a picture of your own car or cars!
Two years ago yesterday the shop opened up. What a great experience so far. Some rough days, but most importantly a whole bunch of awesome ones. Thanks to all the people that support us. We are very lucky to have such an amazing group of people that allow us to work on their cars. It’s truly an honour.
Getting the Camaro together. Danny and crew @vintageironcoachwerks killed the paint on the piping and intercooler. Those BOV mounts look unreal. @ AMPP Performance Vehicles
Unbelievable. Keep your eyes open.
@justinheroux11 warming up the radials for a licence pass.
Quick intake and carb swap for the boys at Apex Rods and Restoration. What a nice truck. Nothing crazy fancy, just a well built driver. @joeykube @ AMPP Performance Vehicles
Had the pleasure of working on this beauty 67 Beaumont, that @vintageironcoachwerks did the body and paint on. Some exhaust, brake lines, bit of interior and trim and off it went.
Some ignition coil relocation. 1968 Camaro. Behind the hand built spoiler. @ AMPP Performance Vehicles
You can’t just throw a cam in any engine. There are critical measurements that need to be taken. Not only valvespring installed height, but retainer to seal clearance as well. These heads were assembled with no measuring done. There was only 0.025 of clearance to the seal. Not to mention the installed heights were a complete mess. Don’t take anything for granted. @ AMPP Performance Vehicles
Where are all the GM parts hoarders at??? Need a set of big block manifolds. Casting numbers 3909879 and 3916178. Nova, Camaro, and Chevelle. Good condition only please. Thanks.
Post edit. Just got a message from Chris. He wants to give the other half back. So there will be another $555 sent to Colin. Thanks Chris, good on ya. Very much appreciated.
Congrats to Chris Ellison for winning the 50-50 draw. Chris has been contacted and is giving half the money back to the cause. The total was $2220. Chris will take home $555 and the balance of $1665 will be sent to Colin Gee and family. Thanks very much to all that participated in the draw. Thanks to Anita Hendry for making the draw.
The live 50-50 draw.
If there is anyone who sent money and have not got a response from me send me a message or call. Soon. 306-222-2796. Thanks.
50/50 draw is tonight everyone. There is a few people coming out to the shop around 5 o’clock. As soon as they buy their tickets we will make the draw. Hopefully around 6 tonight.
Stopped in at Apex Rod & Restoration this evening, Joey and Shannon were welding up a 68 Charger trunk floor, frame rails, rear crossmember on a custom made jig. The spot resistance welder sure does an amazing job. It’s this sort of attention to detail that make for a quality job.
Tickets are selling well. If there is anyone that sent an e transfer that didn’t get a text back message me and let me know. I’m pretty sure I got everyone done.
Ok. I have the tickets. E transfers to [email protected]. Password MUST be 5050. Text 306-222-2796. Name and how much. Set up for auto deposit. You still have to text how many tickets you want, and so I can respond with your numbers and a pic of your tickets.
Here are the details of Colin’s crash. Unbelievable.
Hey everyone. I’m going to set up a 50/50 for Colin Gee to help out with the extra expense of this trying time. To purchase tickets get a hold of me via Facebook messenger or at 306-222-2796. $3 a piece or 4 for $10. Tickets will be sold until September 30th at 4:00 pm. Draw will be held at my shop for anyone that wants to attend. As the tickets are sold half will be deposited into the bank account that was set up for them. The winner will get the other half.
If there is anyone out there that can help out we all would be very grateful. I know first hand what it’s like. Super stressful. Thank you for reading and joining the group.
Check out this pic from Ashley Woodvine Photography, makes that old bucket of bolts look awesome. Check out her Facebook page, purchase your favourite shots for reasonable money.

It’s going to look really good. Nelson mirror image turbos sure help getting the plumbing to look good. @nelsonracingengines @genest19 @briantooleyracing
This is exactly it. Haha. AMEN!!!!
