We are just as happy as you are to see snow on the ground! Please note that everyone on the board of directors is a snowmobiler and we all want to ride. We will open as soon as possible but please do not venture out there when trails are not open. DO NOT OPEN GATES! SOME LANDOWNERS STILL HAVE CATTLE IN FIELDS! This behavior causes lost right of ways. Oftenly at this time of the year, locals who are not members of the club venture out before trails officially open. Note that this is a ticketable offense and combined offenses could add up to fines of close to 1000$.

Here's a shout out for anyone who is interested in working on the trails. We have a need to get a work crew together to clear and brush the 311 trail south of Ladysmith, from north of Schwartz Rd/Hwy 303 (Hodgins PO) where we've had to hug the side of the highway the last couple of years. If we can clear out the brush in the ditch, we think we can get the groomer in there and it would be much safer. Send us a message if interested and we'll see if we can get a date together before the snow hits.

Mike Webb, le représentant du secteur, a obtenu de l'aide pour nettoyer, installer des piquets et panneaux de signalisations sur le sentier 311 dans le secteur d'Otter Lake samedi le 28 novembre 2020. Un diner a été fournis aux travailleurs pour leurs travail acharné. Pour ceux qui étaient présents, merci beaucoup pour l'aide.... A great day with great progress as our Ladysmith/Otter Lake work crew brushed, cleared and picketed a new trail alongside Hwy 303 and King Rd to Erfle Rd. We have been working hard to get the trails off the roadways this year and while we haven't managed 100 percent we have secured many landowner permissions and lessoned the road-running through this area substantially. A big thanks to the great turnout today,: Peter, Kevin, José, Marc, Mark, Robert, Eric, Steve, Tony, H...arold, Greg, Justin, Rod, Mike, Dwayne, Tom, Curtis, Nathan as well as Gerry Bimm and Wayne Born who spearheaded and organized this push. Also would like to mention Campbell's Bay Langford's Grocery who made a contribution against the costs of feeding this motley crew lunch. We appreciate everyone's commitment as many hands make light(er) work. If you would like to volunteer your time to the PSDA to help make our trails better, NOW is the time to get involved and contact us as we ready our passages through Ladysmith, Shawville, Quyon, Bryson, Bristol, and Masham, Otter Lake, Danford Lake.
