Are you getting the right advice?? I got a mortgage for one of my clients just at the beginning of covid-19 and they asked me should we go variable or fixed. Without any hesitation I said we should go variable. The rate we got then was 2.75% and guess what rate I was able to get for them today 2.1% and guess what? we might be able to get even more reductions before they close if interest rate continue to drop. Also the rate reductions have to be requested, the banks dont give it to you automatically. It is important to get the right advice from the right agent. How have I personally saved money during this pandemic? - Insurance - since both my husband and I are working from home and can make do with using one car, we have temporarily cancelled the insurance on the other - Food/Groceries - we arent eating at restaurants or spending on getting take outs. More so we have opted on making simple meals where the whole family is able to participate. - Entertaining - due to social distancing we have not been able to host our fam...ily and friends, less LCBO runs - Fuel - since most 95% of our time is spent being home unless we are doing a grocery run. We are saving a great deal on fuel expense along the fact that fuel is also now cheaper - Memberships - sometimes we dont realize how many memberships we are paying for each month. We were able to go through all our memberships and see what do we need, what can we do without and what can we freeze: gym memberships - Housekeeping - once again due to social distancing we are not able to get help to clean the house and gardening. Also being home we have time to do all this on our own. Tell me how have you saved money?

Lenders use your credit score to determine what kind of borrower you are. - What determines a good/bad credit score? There are a few factors that determine your score: 1.
