Delicious gluten free baking just in time for Valentine's Day; a gift for a family member or a special treat for you and/or your family! All baked goods are prepared in a dedicated gluten free kitchen by an experienced celiac. If you prefer to bake your own, the mixes I use to prepare my cupcakes, cookies and miniloaves are also for sale. Although I am completely sold out of baking for Christmas I do have mixes available for pickup only . All of my cookie mixes make 4 dozen medium sized cookies except for the Sugar Cookie Mix which makes 5 dozen. Cupcake mixes make between 22 and 28 cupcakes, depending upon the variety. My Loaf/Muffin mix makes a delicious, nutritious treat for Christmas morning or Boxing Day brunch. I will continue to have mixes available until I begin baking again near the end of January. It has been some time since I posted information about the gluten free baking mixes I have for sale. Are you new to gluten free baking and/or are dissatisfied with results of using a white starch, gluten free, all purpose flour or baking mix? Are you interested in the nutritional value and amount of dietary fibre in your baked goods? The average recommended daily intake of dietary fibre is 25 grams for women and 38 grams for men. We all know of the importance of fibre to ou...r digestive health and the challenges of getting enough. At AM'S Gluten Free Goodness I have spent years exploring the use of nutritious, whole grain, gluten free ingredients. My mixes are carefully crafted and prepared individually in a dedicated gluten free kitchen to ensure quality control. Each package includes a list of needed ingredients, baking tips, directions and suggested variations. All of my mixes are dairy free and you can use substitutes when the recipe calls for butter or other dairy ingredients. My mixes contain no sugar as I feel that the amount and type of sweetener is a personal choice. Almond flour is used in 6 of my 9 mixes. The Chocolate Cookie Mix, Sugar Cookie Mix and Shortbread Cookie Mix can not be considered nut free as the Bob's Red Mill flours used in the mix do not come from a nut free facility. My loaf/muffin mix is my pride and joy as it contains 6 whole grain gf flours, ground flax, chia seed and hemp hearts. The mix provides many suggested variations including banana loaf, lemon blueberry, rhubarb, etc. My family and I start every day with one of these fibre filled miniloaves! My Oatmeal Cookie mix is as equally nutritious. It contains 5 whole grain gluten free flours, certified gf rolled oats, hemp hearts and chia seed. I am updating the package to include a pumpkin spice variation. All of my cake mixes are made with 100% whole grain gf flours providing a delicious moist cupcake never a dry, crumbling product. Are you thinking about Christmas baking and are looking for delicious cookie recipes? I have recently tweaked my Shortbread Cookie Mix ( it now make 4 dozen cookies) and my Gingersnap Cookie Mix. My Sugar Cookie mix is a real winner as it able to be rolled and cut into shapes for decorating. I have included a photo of my friend Roseanne's handiwork using my mix. My Chocolate Cookie Mix is very versatile and at Christmas I like to make the cookies with red and green peanut M&M's or my favorite - white chocolate chipits and macadamia nuts I will have a good supply of baking mixes available and have previously mailed them to customers in Regina and Calgary. I had a few days off this week and had time to make more Cheesecake New to the menu is Blueberry Cheesecake made with wild blueberries that I picked this summer at the lake.
