SLOW COOKER MONGOLIAN BEEF This takes minutes to throw into the crockpot and has such amazing flavor! One of the best things that you will make in your slow cooker! RECIPE HERE: https://therecipecritic.com/slow-cooker-mongolian-beef/

You guys!! I made this on Sunday, and it was amazing. I’ll share a secret, I hate stuffing! So this recipe was a godsend. And, the leftovers are just as amazing as regular stuffing...(or so I hear )

Back to school...and we’ve found a new product that we are in with! Bees wax wraps ...if you haven’t tried them, you must! We love them for wraps, sandwhich bags, and they are perfect for wrapping up cheese, and (almost) anything else that you would normally use plastic wrap on. They are pretty widely available, but we love Woolies in the Country wraps, because they also have tree resin to balance the wax, so there is no flavouring I’d your food! We’re going to get more this weekend at the market! Woolies in

You guys! This creation is too good to not share. An amazing alternative to typical fat laden bulldozer dip will have you feeling like snacking is actually good for you! Slather a layer of hummus (homemade is best for the most flavour, but store bought will work to) onto a plate (good and thick), top with a similar thickness layer of salsa (let strain briefly, or take out of jar with a slotted spoon for less liquid transfer), top with shredded lettuce, green onion, tomato, chopped pickled jalapeños (optional), fresh parsley and / or cilantro. No cheese, no cream cheese, no ground meat...just a whole lot of flavour! Enjoy with some nacho chips. Credit to my hubby for coming up with this creation that we just can’t get enough of!
