Credit to another Author: Just to clarify for any of those receiving mixed information, the government outline is pretty clear: STAGES RESEARCH :: ... After some intense early morning research I found some things worth sharing after seeing so many post screenshots of emails they received from their regional officials. I want to first express before I lose anyone in this lengthy post that the orders apply PROVINCE WIDE and any regional giving permission to shoot outdoors is incorrect. I will explain below and include my references. The Reopening Roadmap that was released on Friday we know stated studio photography and services are closed until phase 2. At the top of that page in the Overview section also states with a link, "Until we move to Step 1 of the roadmap, we must all continue to follow the rules and public health measures under the provincewide emergency brake." The link brings up a page with more info and under the what is open/closed theres another link that opens the E-Law. I back tracked and found all 3 stage Acts. STAGE 1 - Under Schedule 7: 63. (1) Commercial and industrial photography. (2) For greater certainty, subsection (1) does not permit retail photo studios to open. STAGE 2 - Under Services: Photography studios and services 17. Photography studios and services, and all supporting activities such as hair, makeup and wardrobe, may open if they comply with the following conditions: 1. The studio or area where photographs are to be taken must be configured and operated in such a way as to enable persons in the studio or area to maintain a physical distance of at least two metres from other persons, except where necessary for the taking of the photographs. 2. Persons who provide hair or makeup services must wear appropriate personal protective equipment. ((I am assuming "or area" refers to outdoors etc")) STAGE 3: no information listed as it's same as stage 2 These are all Ontario Regulations and therefore would apply to all regions across the province and regional officials including MP's, health units etc. are unauthorized to give other advice or permission. I'm seeing a lot of mixed answers from regions and that was my first red flag - but the Acts are the official decree. I will say though it took some WORK gathering all of this so I do understand so much oversight. BUT BOTTOM LINE: No we cannot open before OR for stage 1 - staying within 5 person gatherings does not permit us to conduct business (it only allows us to hang out with them lol). Can we start shooting again? Unfortunately, we are not allowed to work until we return to the "Zone Framework" on February 16th. If we return under GREY ZONE , Photography and Photography services are still disallowed and not allowed to work under and circumstances . Fingers crossed to enter a different zone!

My whole heart As many know we have been going through hell and heartbreak this past month with the love of my life. Our story is coming to an end on Tuesday The only reason I am sharing is I know it will be to hard for me then, I have had her since I was 16 years old, and she has been my very best friend. I also know I'm going to need time to heal and not sure how to. I have been so lucky I know to have her so long, but that only makes this harder. So please have patience and understanding next week as I disappear socially. I will do my very best to keep up with the holiday rush but I certainly know I won't be at my best. Thank you all xx
