Nutrition For Healthy Active Living Event! Excited to be offering this 30 minute Online workout and 45 min- 1 hour online chat about Nutrition! Details: The 30 min workout will be an Arms & Abs class, focusing on strengthening with no cardio. Followed by a 45 min - 1 hour chat about healthy eating for an active lifestyle. The count down is on!!! 37.5 weeks We are enjoying these last moments as a family of 3 but very excited to meet our little girl! Tonight will be my last Fitness Class until after baby! I am so thankful for all of the lovely ladies I have met and for supporting my business and dream I won’t be away for too long, so please follow my page for any updates on upcoming classes in the Fall
Mom Bum A woman’s body goes through a lot of changes during pregnancy. After the baby comes it is quite common to have what is commonly known as mom bum Aka flat bum. Did you notice that your bum looked a little flatter after having a baby?! Yep, it’s a real thing!! I know because it happened to me! But... the good news is, we can get it back!!! During pregnancy the majority of the weight in gained in the front. This causes your center of gravity to shift forward which ca...uses the pelvis to tilt forward to help keep you upright. This leads to tight hip flexors and weak glutes. This is why it’s so important to exercise during (medical clearance approval) and after pregnancy! Towards the end of pregnancy, you are likely to be less active. Which is completely understandable but by getting off of our bums and even just going for that walk, it will help. Keep that body moving !!! The less time spent sitting the better. Sitting contributes to tight hip flexors and weak glutes. Stretching those tight hip flexors and working on glute strengthening exercises will help to get that booty back after baby! Exercises to help get those bums back: Squats (sumo, goblet, etc...) Bridge dips Single leg bridge dips Reverse lunges Curtsy lunges Banded side walks Kickbacks Deadlifts Step ups Bulgarian split lunges Come and join me and I can help you ladies out !
