I thought I would share some exciting news here with all of you! As some of you may know, I'm really dedicated to constant learning in photography and to this end I take a couple of classes every year. About a year ago I decided to start working toward a professional designation called Click Pro Elite. Click Pro is an association of professional photographers pursuing advanced artistic and business development while amplifying the voice of photographers worldwide. Admission to the Click Pro association is by invitation after submitting a portfolio of 150 images for review by a panel of judges against rigorous technical standards. Just over a week ago, I received the news that I have been accepted! This was a big 2021 goal for me and I am really excited for all the opportunities ahead! #clickproelite

Are you into Valentine's day? I never used to really be into it but since I've had kids I feel like it's a great excuse to love on them and also to teach them ways to spread the love. We usually try to bake cookies for people, send cards to family, and write each other little "love notes" This year any excuse to celebrate a little more and have something to look forward to is definitely welcome!

I know we live in a harsh climate but seriously, winter family photos should be a thing! Winter has its own beauty that is downright magical I think

I LOVE newborn sessions - they might be some of my favourite sessions ever There's just something incredible and surreal about a new little person that's never existed before. I have a huge gallery wall of my kids' newborn photos in my bedroom because I just love to reminisce back to when they were teeny tiny Did you do newborn photos? How did you use your images?

My kids didn't seem to get the memo that it's still winter, they are constantly running around in shorts and bathing suits (indoors only of course) My middle also asked me how many sleeps until summer.... ummmm like more than a hundred kid sorry

It's a new week and a little bit closer to spring Anyone else feel like the weeks just all blend together at this point!?
