This motherhood thing is amazing, challenging, hard (AF) and ever changing craziness. Some days, I feel like I am barely staying afloat, but I have learned to cherish even the contrasts of the madness that trying to raise a tiny human brings. I often wonder how I was ever able to live a life witho...ut you in it, without being your mom. Sometimes, I try to remember who I was before you, and even when I still see glimpses of the girl I was, I am reminded that right here, right now is truly where I belong. From the very second our souls met my heart cracked open like never before, and I recognize that it was then when my life truly started. You are my anchor to the present - even when motherhood and adult-life becomes overwhelming and little seems to make sense - you are always a reminder that TODAY and every day forward, is a miracle.
