So most of you know that we can’t do our Christmas parade and community supper this year due to COVID restrictions..... but we still want to do something! So we are having an Outdoor Christmas Lights/Decorations Contest!!! We are having a first and second prize for the Anahim Lake area and a first and second prize for the Nimpo Lake area. In addition to this there will be an added grand prize awarded to the best out of the two first place winners. Santa and his crew will be driving around on December 23rd, starting at approximately 4:30pm, checking out lights and judging. You need to register your lights so we don’t miss anyone! Call Amy @ 742-0029 or Wendy @ 742-3310 and we will put you on Santa’s list!

This is a sad day. We have been told that we have to cancel our stampede due to Covid 19 this summer. The liquor license and dances cannot happen as per local and provincial laws. We waited until the very last moment in high hopes we could host this event knowing that it could have been the biggest in years! Again....sorry for this but it is out of our hands.

Rodeo friends! Save the date and note the changes! Anahim Lake Stampede will start on Friday, July 3rd with our gymkana, BCBRA race and fun events! Saturday July 4th will be our fun filled JACKPOT, which will include ranch and open broncs, a BCBRA race, cow riding, steer riding and much more more (lots for the kids!) Sunday July 5th will be the regular BCRA rodeo with some extra fun events thrown in. Of course you can expect our usual awesome dance, dinners (Friday to Sund...ay), pancake breakfast, kids play area, concession all day and cold beverages for your enjoyment! Our event is family friendly with good payouts and FREE admission!! Mark us on your calendar and stay tuned for the details! See more
