Good evening everyone! Drum roll please! And here, as promised, are some better photos of our newest arrivals. Our little Tuxedo bunch are having a ball playing together and have settled in beautifully. <3 They are active and playful, some are more outgoing some a little bit more reserved, but they are all beautiful, healthy, and will soon be ready for rehoming. ... They have their vetting appointment next week and will be ready very soon afterwards. They are approx. 9 to 10 weeks old and will be ready to be adopted in approx. a week and a half to 2 weeks. Since so many have applied to adopt our very handsome Felix, it might help if some of those applicants decided to apply for these little furry cuties instead. There are 5 all in all, some short haired and some medium to long haired. See more

It seem that there is a lot of interest in our handsome little Felix, and there are far too many applicants for this sweet boy. (and for Pixel as well) So we will go through all the applications for Felix, and get back to everyone by this evening.... There can be only one person in the end, who will adopt this cutie-pie, so we will have to pick one. We hate saying "no" to the others, and we wish there were 5 or more, so we could say yes to everyone. Please refrain from putting in any more applications for Felix. And we will be posting some new photos of the new arrivals today sometime, so maybe some of you who wanted to apply for Felix, might want to apply for one of the new sweet little fuzzy cuties instead. Hi all, Karl here! We thought that we'd give you all a little peek at some of our new arrivals. The smaller ones anyway, we do have some older kittens that have just come in as well and will be posting some photos of them over the next few days. There are 5 smaller ones(pictured below) and 4 older/bigger kittens. (photos of those 4 to be posted in the next few days) They are all mostly black & white Tuxedo kittens, some are short haired and some medium to long haired ones a...s well. :) They will all soon be going for vetting and be ready for rehoming approx. a week after vetting. We do not like to rehome them too quickly and like them to recover at home for a few days, just to make sure that no one has a reaction to the vaccines or anesthetic, etc... PS: We apologise that the photos are not very clear and we will have better photos of them posted very soon.

I get along with all the other kittens and also have my calm moments, where I am just cuddly and want to be a lap-cat. I love to be held, but then after cuddles, I want to run a play with my friends again. I will soon be vetted and be ready to find my new human best friend. See more

Hi, my name is Milo. :) I am approx. 13 weeks old, and am energetic and playful boy. I get along with all the other kittens and am very purry & cuddly. I will soon be vetted and be ready to meet my new human family, in the next week or two.

Good evening to all you feline lovers out here... We have a sneak peek coming up later this evening of some new kittens that are here with us and soon will be available for adoptions. And now.... The moment a few of you out here have been patiently & impatiently waiting for! :) The draw for the Malti-Poo puppy adoption lottery. We had one of our rescuers son, download an app that picks a number, and he has sent us the video just now. (even though he is presently working out of town, he took the time to do this for us tonight <3 )... We wish there had been 10 Malti-Poos, this way everyone interested could have adopted one, but unfortunately there was only one. So to those who did not win, we love and appreciate each of you, and we hope you will still follow us for more updates and pups & kittens that come up for adoption. Our resident dog expert did a great job caring and nursing this little one, who has thrived and is ready for rehoming. The list of potential adopters was cut down to 10 people, and then whittled down to 5 last night. The last 5 were given each a number from 1 to 5, and the video of the app picking the number was sent to us, and is posted here for all to see. A very heartfelt thank you <3 to Heidi Kessler for the generous donation to our little "Humans Helping Humans" food drive. This food collection through Nov. & Dec., as we said in an earlier post, will be going to "The Unity Project", in London/On. <3 *Should they not be able to accept these donations due to Covid, the donations will go to a local food-bank. <3

Good evening all you pet lovers out here... We've been a little preoccupied, as one of our partners in rescue was blindsided with some surprise news that has been 4 years in the making. They have been waiting for a hip replacement for 4 long years and it was announced to them last week, that this long awaited surgery will be happening this coming Thursday the 19th of November. So then begun the scramble and rush to get everything in order prior to the surgery date. They wil...l be down for 6 weeks afterwards, at least, and that will take this into the new year, and more with further recovery time afterwards. Join us in wishing them all the best and a speedy recovery!!! <3 So we are slowing things down a little around here, but there is a new batch of kittens that will soon be announced/posted, and soon afterwards to be ready for rehoming/adoption. So please bare with us, as we are still here helping out local farmers and others.... Especially with the colder weather now and the winter time which will be soon upon us. We are scrambling to get as many cats & kittens out of the cold as we can prior to winter and the snowfall. Keep an eye out for the kittens who will soon be posted, and if you would like, please check out our new website, the link can be found in our "about" section on Facebook here. We love our new site and we have some new and interesting things coming up soon. Also, there will be a food drive this month/November and in December as well, where with each adoption we will be asking you, our wonderful supporters and adopters of furry-friends, to please donate 3 canned or non-perishable food items with each adoption. These items will be donated to "The Unity Project" right now, and to other organizations later. We will be holding these food drives fairly regularly, as we aim to be a more community based rescue and it is important to us to give back to the local community. As well we will have a fundraiser coming up, with some really cool prizes to bid on like beauty treatments, a sitting for a tattoo with an amazing professional tattoo artist at a local tattoo parlor here in London, etc... And there will be draws for other prizes to be announced. Stay tuned folks! Tis the season! <3

~PSA~ *LOCAL CHARITY FOOD DRIVE* Humans helping humans.... As much as we are all huge animal lovers here, we also believe in helping our fellow human beings. We were going to hold a holiday food drive coming up in December, but we've decided to have it early. ... So starting now, with every adoption we are asking every potential adopters to donate 3 canned or non-perishable food item that will be donated to a shelter/food bank, or local charity. Please help us create a ripple effect of goodness, care and support to our fellow human beings. Right now, we will be concentrating on donating to the "Unity Project". A place that provides very necessary support and shelters human beings in need of housing and peer support. A little bit about the "Unity Project": "In the summer of 2001, a group of youth activists and homeless individuals formed a tent city in a downtown park to raise public awareness of a desperate situation. The community experience that developed led to the initiation of the Unity Project a shelter service with a peer-supported community model. With the support of hundreds from every walk of life and a generous grant from the City of London the Unity Project was able to purchase and open its facility in the heart of Old East Village in London Ontario. Since then, Unity Project has been a consistent contributor in providing vital social services for London and area and helped thousands of men and women to approach stability and restore wellbeing. We honour the founding members for their determination and fight for an enormously important cause; and thank them for forming the values, mission and goals that Unity Project continues to abide by respect, cooperation, interdependence and compassion." *I myself was one of the founding members of this wonderful initiative. And please, it doesn't have to be only adopters donating food to this food drive initiative, anyone can donate if you wish. We encourage anyone and everyone to help out with this charitable project.
