A Reflexology Therapist in lockdown My mother was a reflexologist so I knew when I took on this career some of my young woman fantasies of what life would be like would have to be put on the back burner. It was the years of mini skirts and high heels, long nails, bangles and hoop earrings. I remember distinctly the day I made the transformation to a reflexology therapist with flat shoes modest dress, with short fingernails and hair tied back. I guess you could say I had a the...atrical side LOL. Keeping one’s nails short and professional looking was not something you could change on the weekends so I was never far away from my profession. Being in lockdown, not allowed to practice Reflexology under these circumstances has allowed me to utilize this time as a fantasy not realized for over 40 years, fingernails to long for reflexology and a little polish as well. A reflexologist it’s not only about hands-on therapy but also many years of gathering information on how the body reacts to its environment.
