Unfortunately our shop and office were broken into last night. Looks like they were looking for cash or similar. Took a couple hundred blank cheques and a couple UFA fuel cards. Trashed the office. Dumped everything out of drawers and filing cabinets. Kicked in a couple doors that were actually unlocked. Cut couple padlocks on gate and used a crow bar on main outside steel door.

So finally heard back from our govt about the efficiancy rebate program. They have told me that is was too difficult to include the single largest fuel burning appliance in the program. Yup. Your furnace. Yet on demand water tanks (which require more work including adding more fuel load to your house) are included. How difficult do they think upgrading your furnace from a low or mid efficient furnace to a high efficient furnace can be? So, i am offering a summer special of 20% off, on furnace upgrades if booked by July 1 and installed by Sept 1. We only install 95% efficient and up furnaces by Armstrong Air. It seems we made it through the worst. Im sure we will still get a blast of winter just to remind us that mother nature is still running the show. An upate on the Alberta gov't grants......NOTHING!! The carbon tax has hit and affected all of us. Combined with increased rates from the utility providers and the carbon levy, it seems my own bills were up 10 - 12 %, and I dont qualify for a rebate. ... I guess the only way to combat the higher energy costs, I am offering a late season retro fit at last years prices, and of you upgrade to our Armstrong Air 2-stage variable speed furnace, i will include a flow through humidifier or a MERV 10 high efficiancy pleated filter rack and replacement filter.
