Hello Friends, Our Annual Free Christmas Lunch for the financially challenged is on December 25, 2018 from 11.30 to 2.30pm. This community meal is prepared by Ancila’s Indian Cuisine and served at the restaurant. This project has been made possible with the help of the many volunteers and generous donors, most of whom are our customers and friends. ... This year, in addition to the hot meal at the restaurant, we are also look forward to gifting essential personal items to individuals or families in need. We are accepting your kind donation at the restaurant of the following suggested items which would be appropriate for all ages and gender: Water bottle for school, small juice packs, Shampoo/Conditioner, Soap, Face wipes, Wash cloth, Hand sanitizer, Cotton swabs, Chap stick, Mints/gum, Toothbrush/ Toothpaste, Tissues, Socks, Comb/hair brush, Hand lotion, First aid kit, Deodorant, Gloves, Scarves, Hats, Cookies, Granola bars, Fruit snacks, or other similar items. Gift certificates from Tim Horton, Wal-Mart, or Canadian Tire are also welcome. You can contribute towards this cause by either volunteering your time or by way of small cash donation to help with the costs lunch or by contributing small gift items.
