Many years ago I encountered a man who would not let me play small as an artist. His belief in me carried me across a continent and had my work in an arts festival in downtown Perth in the years after we met. These images, shot on infrared film, were a part of the team show entitled Aile : Freedom of Flight . They are not the most technically accomplished images, but they mean so much to my heart and soul. Thank you Dwight, you’re not on social media, but this is for you, and the path you started me on 18 years ago. (Featuring the ever magical @leah.alifeserendipity )
