Well it’s time to spill the beans! On August 3rd Andrea’s Pampered Pets will be at our new location After 6 1/2 years at Global Pet Foods we have grown out of our little shop and are moving on to our next chapter. This wouldn’t be possible without my awesome staff/ladies and all of you and also My husband,Ray and Christian for their hard work getting the shop ready! Please be patient as this is a huge change for us and will take a little bit of time to work out some kinks! Thank you everyone and we will see you all soon at the new location

Just a reminder that there is fireworks tonight at 10 pm!! Be sure to keep your pets inside or secure! If you are going to watch the fireworks leave your dogs at home! As much as they enjoy a car ride, fireworks are terrifying to them! Keep them safe and happy Happy New Years

Good evening everyone. I know you are all wondering what’s going on with the new restrictions and we can say how extremely fortunate that pet grooming was deemed an essential service by the government of Alberta as we are, in their terms, "a business that provides for the health and welfare of animals". This means we will be able to remain open and continue to serve you and your pets and we could not be more grateful! BUT there is going to be some strict guidelines that EVER...YONE needs to follow so we can remain open and keep everyone safe! Please read the following instructions when coming to your next appointment. ABSOLUTELY Everyone MUST wear a mask when entering our salon and sanitize their hands before entering. ONE CLIENT IN THE SHOP AT A TIME PLEASE! This sadly also means only one family member! Unless young children of course. When picking up your pet or dropping off your pet. If someone is already in the shop dropping off or picking up. Please remain in your vehicle til we have a chance to sanitize after that client leaves. Absolutely NO WALK IN SERVICES will be available at this time. Nail trims or glands must be booked by appointment. We will do our best to accommodate you and your pups! Thank you everyone for your cooperation during this extremely difficult time!

I just want to take a minute to talk about winter grooming! It’s that time of year where I hear this is the last haircut til spring please don’t do this to your dog or cat!!! Winter grooming is just as important as summer grooming! Keeping your pet a inch long is far more healthier then 4 inches long and matted! The matting pulls the hair apart and exposes bare skin and cold spots! This can also hide skin irritations where they can fester and lead to a expensive trip to the... vet! Also nails don’t get worn down as much as in the summer due to the ice and snow which leads to ingrown toenails. This is extremely painful and can also lead to a trip to the vet. Sadly we see this year after year and want to help educate pet owners to help keep their pets happy and healthy through the winter season. We are here to help (These pictures are NOT my clients.
