DO YOU EAT PLANT BASED? If not, I encourage you to incorporate at least 2 weekly meals that are 100% plant based. Give your body a break from eating animal products. There are so many reasons to cut back on animal products:... 1. It saves animals. 2. Better for digestion. 3. Helps increase energy levels. 4. Saves you money. 5. Amazing for skin health. 6. Reduces inflammation in the body. So start this week incorporating more plant based meals into your day. It’s actually very simple. I usually bake up a few vegetables, top over salad, add tofu or hemp for protein and voila . Buddah bowls are a MUST HAVE in our home. Scope my page for delicious recipes and ideas. How has going plant based benefited your body? I’d love to hear. Write it below in the comments

Not seeing results? You’ve eaten salads for lunch and dinner. Drank green smoothies for breakfast and even peeled yourself out of bed at 6am for a workout but you are STILL not seeing results???!!! .... . . 1Your Portions- portion control is huge! People believe they are eating healthy but yet they are eating enormous portions which basically add additional calories that typically don’t get burned off. ... . 2Lack of Protein- especially first thing in the morning! Most people start their day with a sugar loaded breakfast which causes blood sugar instability. It’s important to start the day with protein which will help you stay full and satisfied while keeping blood glucose levels stable. Aim for 20-25 grams first thing. . 3Not Getting Sweaty Enough- to burn fat, you must SWEAT . Walking is great if you are consistently doing this for a lengthy period of time but a quick 45 minute HIIT workout 4x per week is far more effective at shedding pounds and sculpting muscles. . 4Self Belief- unfortunately, too many of us have negative self belief about ourselves. We tell ourselves it’s too hard, we are tired and we just can’t do it! This mindset will simply leave you stuck. You must absolutely believe change is capable and that you are worth it. . !- Daniel G Amen See more

. Confused as to which magnesium to take? Do you often stand in the supplement isle and feel discouraged because there are so many to choose from? I’m going to explain magnesium to you today and the top 4 different types I would recommend. . is the 4th abundant mineral in the body and plays a critical role in various functions in the body- brain, muscles, nerves and heart. Magnesium is typically found in leafy greens but due to poor diet and depleted soil...s, it is estimated 50% of people are deficient. Signs of deficiency include insomnia, restlessleg, muscle aches, anxiety and blood sugar imbalances. . . Magnesium Citrate- is one of the most popular and easily absorbed magnesium supplements. This type can also have a laxative effect and I usually recommend this one for those who are constipated and need restful sleep. @naturalcalmca is by far my favourite brand of magnesium citrate. . Magnesium Malate- this is a gentle form of magnesium recommended for people suffering from fatigue and symptoms of fibromyalgia. . Magnesium Oxide- one of the least absorbed forms but the highest percentages of elemental magnesium per dose. Great for those who are constipated. I like @naturalfactors brand. . Magnesium Glycinate- this is a popular one and a more gentle choice. Glycinate has a calming factor for anyone who needs to relax and this type does not have a laxative effect. I like the @canprev brand or @naturalfactors . . . Do you take magnesium? If so, which type? See more

AFTERNOON READ . Do you read to you baby? I did with my first, tried with my 2nd & 3rd and now, I’m trying to make an effort with my 4th. Today, we received a very special story book from a local author @fancy_nancy_duarte called Too Many Kisses. It’s an adorable read about a boy who tried to escape his Moms kisse...s and the unexpected lesson he learns along the way. Thank you so much Too Many Kisses for gifting it to us! MINDSET US EVERYTHING.... You want to see results? Change your thoughts and your daily actions. Plain and simple. But why is this SO HARD for many? I’ll tell you why.... The 3 C’s . . Confidence. Clarity.... Control. . Many lack CONFIDENCE within themselves, typically an old story told to them as a child by someone that has clung to them into adult life. . Many lack CLARITY. They have no clue as to what it is that they REALLY want. . Many lack CONTROL. This is a big one! It’s simply too difficult to control their habits. Many of these bad habits again, linger from childhood, anxiety, depression, taking on more than they can handle and basically stress! Stress is a major culprit to all lack of control and poor health habits. . . So if you feel this way, I encourage you to zone in deep within yourself and ask your body daily what it needs to gain control of healthy habits, build confidence and get clarity on your life. Participating in a yoga class, finding time for yourself and getting out into nature or talking to a counsellor are all really wonderful ways to build a positive mindset. See more
