Spent the day out at the Rosebud Theatre yesterday, teaching some of the Actresses how to style their hair into 1940s styles. And one of them had to be transformed into a boy and have all of her long hair cut short ... she could pull it off though it looked great on her for when she’s off stage too I’m excited to see this Show, it’s a classic and was a family tradition to watch every Christmas, as I’m sure you’re familiar with called A Christmas Story. I highly recommend checking it out! It’s a dinner show and the food is amazing too. Show starts next Wednesday.

Another successful WNBF show in the books! Thanks to my incredibly talented Hair and Makeup team. We helped each other out the whole way through which made everything run very smoothly considering we had 21 Athletes to accommodate! We are so thankful for WNBF Edmonton for giving us this huge opportunity and having us for the 5th year in a row as their official beauty team! Thanks to their staff for fixing a few obstacles we almost had first thing in the morning, I don’t know how we would have done it without their help! The lighting backstage was almost non existent but they really helped us out as much as they could and we made it work with what we had!!

Today’s Blonde balayage before and after I’m always Jealous of those clients who have naturally light brown hair (level 7 or lighter) and can achieve a light blonde in only one sitting! Anyone with a darker brown hair, like myself, you’re looking at multiple stages and processing to get this light and out of that dreaded brassy zone! Yes it can be costly and time consuming unfortunately, but I always recommend taking it slow so you don’t end up severely damaging your hai...r. All you dark hair ladies, I suggest start with a Carmel blonde and go lighter and lighter each time you come back. The color of my clients roots here is all her own natural color, so all we had to do today was a bunch of fine foiled highlights, painting the ends in between and then apply 2 different toners. Darker on the root lighter ash ends :)

I can’t get over the quality of the extensions I order for my clients! They come all the way from Australia and are worth the wait! They come in this beautiful box and they give you a small size of shampoo, conditioner and extension treatment free! They are twice as thick as any of the brands you can buy locally and Less expensive! They take about two weeks to get in regular mail, or you can get them expedited for a small fee. If you want long gorgeous hair for spring/summe...r let me know and we can have them in before it’s here! For anyone who orders their hair in the month of March, you will receive a 50% Off voucher to use for your second re-install when they need to be repositioned! Usually every 6-8 weeks they need to be repositioned.

It was a burgundy/wine day today Two colour makeovers! First one I prelightened her ends and brought the gradient up higher, then applied a rich merlot shade overtop. At the sink I brought her hair back to a super shiny, healthy state with my complimentary hair therapy treatments everyone gets when the book in for a colour;) ... Look at that shine! 100x Better Second one wanted a big change and she got it! From blonde to burgundy in one step! I did a slightly deeper root color just to give a bit more depth and volume. Again, looks so much healthier and great against her skin tone! Nice fall/winter change. Thanks for coming in ladies!
