It is such an incredibly difficult time we are in, all of us. Loss of job security, loss of loved ones, loss of time spent and memories made. As photographers, our family has most definitely felt to turmoil on on our security and well being. But I am reminded that there is no shadow without light. And with everything striped from all of us, everything that we hold so dear to our hearts taken away, there is one thing that remains. The one thing that will always remain... Love.... My family and I were blessed this past week to be a part of Laurel and Jacks beautiful wedding ceremony. Just myself, the three beautiful ladies in my life, the bride, the groom, the officiant, and God. In fact, the first wedding where I took the photos and signed the witness papers! A very exciting day indeed. And since we had no babysitters, they even got two beautiful flower girls for the afternoon! ;) But the highlight of the day was, love. Jack and Laurel share such an incredibly beautiful story that brought the two of them together. Even in times like these, there is beauty, and it. Is. Awesome. Meet the Branscombe’s (or half of them anyway ). Tracey is a nurse and incredible Mom of 3. The last couple of weeks have been filled with a whirlwind of emotions. Initial disbelief and disappointment with school closures and cancelled travel plans, layoffs, graduations and uncertainty. We have 5 active and independent adults now sharing a space. This will definitely be an adjustment and challenge for all of us. We are all finding connections with family and friends throu...gh FaceTime (morning coffee dates) and the boys are gaming with friends. I definitely feel support from my work friends, we recognize the need to be there for one another at such a stressful time. We have always been a very active outdoor family. It is so important to venture outside daily and get fresh air to keep our spirits up. Outdoor fires are something we enjoy and do all year in our backyard. Chopping wood is a great stress reliever and good exercise!!
