Thank you to all the people who went to Wednesday nights debate, even though your candidate couldn't be there. You asked the tough questions and told the truth. Thank you for speaking up. Thank you to Tim and Peter Vogel who came to the Uxbridge debate as well, we had a good debate and the crowd was supportive and appreciative of our cause.

Just a reminder to all that there is a debate Monday evening at the Uxbridge community centre at 7pm and a televised debate in Courtice on Wednesday at 7pm. We would love to see supporters at both. You can ask the tough questions or just come to offer support! We have said we want the debate on these issues, this is our chance!

For any of our riding constituents, there was an article yesterday in the Clarington This Week with candidates answers to readers questions. There is also a more in depth interview coming out with the Orono Times, I believe it will be next week. Reactions have been great toward CHP policies and we are seeing a lot of interest from Durham residents! Please come out to our debates on Monday and Wednesday if you can, we could really use your support!

Ok people want updates, here they are! Thursday the 8th we have a meet and greet in Port Perry, at 127A Waterbury at 9:30 am. Tomorrow morning, I am on the air for 2 min of free time with Rogers T.V. Wednesday the 14th there is a debate at Hope Fellowship church in Courtice that is televised by Rogers. It runs from 7-9 pm. Monday the 12th there is an ACM at the community centre in Uxbridge from 7-9 as well. We are writing 3 articles for the Scugog Standard so if you get that paper look for these! We are sending flyers to every household in the riding, and they will be going out within days. Thanks to our campaign team, especially the Monster house, who have been very busy organizing and putting up signs! Thank you to everyone who is helping us, you are keeping me going!

Had a great talk with Rod Taylor at the Bowmanville Tim Hortons tonight! He asked me how I thought we'd do this election. Well, how are we going to do? Thank you to John and Josh and anyone else who was out in the rain this morning putting up signs. I have plenty more at my house for all who need them. We are going to Queen's Park on Tuesday for the Defund Abortion rally. I encourage everyone who can to go, we can make the difference! I have room for one more in my car if anyone needs a ride. Home from the defund abortion rally in Bowmanville today. Could not have asked for a better time, God's timing really is perfect! Apple Fest meant that huge crowds were on hand and the response was favorable. We had quite a few chats with people, a lot of signatures for our petition, and lots of new interest in the CHP! It was great to see old friends and meet some new ones.

On September 26, 2012, a new pro-life private member’s motion was filed in the House of Commons by Mark Warawa, Member of Parliament for Langley, BC. It calls upon parliament to condemn the reprehensible practice of female gendercide which is occurring in Canada through sex-selective abortion. CLC started an online petition that will be presented to the Prime Minister and to the other party leaders urging them to vote in favour of this motion. Please sign the petition now. ... A paper copy can also be downloaded and if those are returned to CLC, we will arrange for them to be read out loud in the House of Commons by Members of Parliament. Wow! The debate is not going away it seems! I would urge everyone to get involved with this debate, I'm sure there is a lot of support for ending sex selective abortion. Canada cannot condone the killling of children simply because they are girls.

There is a Defund abortion rally going on in Bowmanville this Saturday at 11:00am at 75King st E John O'tooles MPP office. I will be speaking and there will be a good crowd of dedicated people there to tell our elected officials "Not with our money!" Please let me know if you are willing to come. Funny but sad.....

For anyone who didn't get an e-mail our EDA board is meeting Sept 12th, Monday. If you have any policy ideas, please bring them or pass them on to someone who is on the board. Also, we will be discussing petition wording and strategies and gaining new membership. I believe the time is 7:00 at the Monster's. See you there!
