Did a variation of this box for Valentine's. Loaded with goodies, the boxes were dead cute and $20 each. I'm going to do them again with an Easter theme and a Mother's Day theme so because they're custom, reserve yours now. They'll be available in a $15, $20 & $25 version depending on your choice of what's inside.

Thank you to Lucan Baconfest for the LIKE! Anyone local, you should check this event out. AKCS will be attending again this year. 2014's Baconfest was fabulous. Great food, great vendors, live music. Lucan was a happening, fun, yummy place and this year will be even better.

Well, AKCS fans... I've been away from FB for a while and it shows. Lots of news coming though... made a few batches of special order soap recently and have a few more to go. I've got some cool Valentine's cottage boxes going out tomorrow. Attempted a new soap recipe that I'm not grooving to yet. Not enough lather to even send it out to my testor group. I love a really lathery (sp) soap. What about you?? A really cool wedding basket went out today. I'll start posting some photos asap. I hope 2015's being great to all of you!

Clamshell melters... what are they? At AKCS they're fun, great value and come in a ridiculously huge range of fragrances. They're $3.95 each... And they look like this... (see photo below) (right now I'm making Butter Tart, Carrot Cake, Cherry Cheesecake, Irish Cream, Clean Cotton, Chocolate Chip Cookie, Christmas Wreath, Christmas Crush, Gingerbread, Reindeer Poo, Zinfandel & Hot Buttered Popcorn.)... Check out the AKCS fragrance oil lists in Notes - any AKCS F/O can be made into a clamshell melter. And if you don't have a fancy, plug in warmer yet... they're available at Walmart at a great price. (FYI - AKCS melters are made with 125 degree food grade paraffin or soy wax and work in any plug in warmer with a 125 degree melting point. Check your manufacturer's specs. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised to find they're all pretty much the same. - AKCS label styles may vary. Our melters are always fabulous.)

Spa In A Jar mason jar lanterns! Yep, theyr'e gorgeous. I've got 5 of them ready to go and they'll all be at the "Mother of All Craft Shows" this Saturday at the Lucan Community Centre. This event is taking place during the townwide yard sale event. Come to Lucan and check out the deals! Make sure you come into the Community Centre and find me at the AKCS table!

I've got loads of soap! Made 8 batches in the last little while. Some really cool looking bars. Oatmeal & Honey, Heritage Rose, Sage & Lemongrass, Patchouli & Rosemary, Cottage Country, Sunshine Soap, Northern Berry (lemon, blueberry & wildberry combination), Lavender Essential Oil and _______. I also have bubble gum, Coconut Macaroon and 1 bar of avocado puree. And a bunch of guest size cubes of Yukon Blue. If you want some, add reserve yours by commenting.
