This international women’s day I’d like to shine light on and express my gratitude for my Aunt Marie. She was truly a remarkable human being and an inspiration to myself and my family. Aunt Marie has had a profound impact on my life, showing me the true meaning of unconditional love. Her presence was full of light and warmth, with a wonderful sense of humour and a strong conviction in her faith. She took on her many lifes struggles with grace and ease. I am so thankful to have had the honour of knowing my Aunt Marie, and try each day to live with the same virtue she exuded. Born in Newfoundland January 15 1930, passed February 28 2019.
