An evening to come together as a community in the journey through grief and healing

Excited to have an opportunity to meet numerous physicians and other mental health professionals from across the province this weekend....such a rich source of information and new tools to bring back to my practice.

In light of local COVID 19 status we are tightening up our protocols in office once again. We realize we have all experienced COVID fatigue, and we would prefer... to continue to offer in person sessions as long as possible, so we need your help! Please continue to follow the guidelines you so wonderfully have done while in office to date. We will be adding a few restrictions back: *masks will be required In the reception area at all times. *please arrive only at your appointment time (not earlier to prevent unnecessary waiting) *one adult/caregiver to wait with children while they are in their session unless prior approval with your therapist such as in the case of PCIT *continue with the COVID sheets, take video session opportunities when possible and especially if you are exhibiting symptoms or have been required to isolate due to contact tracing. This year as I reflect on thanksgiving, I am so thankful.... Thankful for my clients who show such bravery in their most vulnerable times and allow me to be the holder of their stories. Thankful for my family and friends who have supported me and encouraged me every step of the way to build a career that I truly love....especially my boys who keep me grounded, remind me of what’s most important, and help me to keep it real.... Thankful for my amazing colleagues at Medicine Hat Counselling Collective who provide a work space that pushes me to do better and be better. I am inspired by all of you and am thankful for each one. Thank you!
