Question: do we have to stop shedding tears or expressing grief in order to be healed? Is there such a concept of I’m good, period? Or do you think we heal for our entire lives? Comment below #philosophy #life #healing

It’s #earthday It’s a beautiful thing to see how this current pandemic lockdown is making a positive impact on the #environment. Levels of pollution in New York have reduced by nearly 50% because of measures to contain the virus. But will we continue to see prolonged positive impact once flight restrictions are lifted and people return to work? A 2018 study by Moser at Zurich University of Applied Sciences found that when people were restricted from driving, they drove much... less when they eventually got their car back. Now that companies have been forced to pivot to support work from home employees, we might see managers continue to trust their employees to product the same level of work without a commute to the office. From a mental wellness standpoint, we know there are difficulties of not being able to have water cooler conversations with your colleagues between tasks it’s those little social interactions that bring a sense of community to life. However, there’s lots of benefit to be had from not feeling pressured to commute to work when you could really use that extra hour of sleep, or to catch up on some personal time or when your chronic pain or fatigue just won’t allow you to move far from home. Let’s hope #WFH is here to stay as an option for our and mother earth’s well-being.

#socialdistancing approved activity: #intuitivepainting no artistic talent required. Allow your intuition to guide you towards certain colours and certain brushstrokes. Surrender to the moment and see what comes out onto the page. Can also be done with pencil crayons on sketchbook. Show your therapist your work, come to a mutual Interpretation. Dig out your old art supplies, people! Become a kid again, your soul and your psyche is begging you to!
