Start with what has happened in 2021 and change numbers as you see them changing for next year. I bet this country would be a very different place if all eligible voters showed up. Do your part and just show up and make a decision - let your voice be heard. ~Angela here~ How do you all organize your days in business? I’ll be honest, I am just as excited as the kids for back to a routine this fall so I can feel a bit of organization back in my life. I preach scheduling to my clients, and this summer it felt like I let it all go. Typically, on a Monday morning, I fill out one of these pages for each day of the week and stick them on the wall beside my desk. It is never exactly how my days turn out, but it allows me to see what I ...am falling behind on or getting ahead of. I am a visual learner, and love being able to see the trade-off in answering a client request and then figuring out when I can fit that other ‘to do’ back in. In full vulnerability, after a summer of fun with kids, I am feeling behind in my work. Nothing a good week won’t fix, but life always has its way of shifting when we need it to.

We know how many things pull your attention during the day when you are running a business. Not only are you focused on your product/service, but also clients, staff, vendors, systems, strategy, planning, and on and on. Don't forget the fact that you have have friends and family and a life outside of work. Then you typically find a bookkeeper to help manage the day-to-day information of the business. . Often when things are running smoothly you start to grow, and you feel like there is more you wish you knew about your business. You wish you had time to sit down and look at the things... that are happening and figure out what is important to you. You want to know what types of changes may help your business become more profitable. That is where a contracted team member comes into play.
