As a planner, I not only plan your wedding. I also help you solve any conflicts that may be stopping you from making wedding decisions. Most conflicts are due to the lack of communication between the couple, family or even the bridal party. Therefore, I always recommend to chat before the wedding to make sure everyone is on the same page. This will help lead to the perfect, happy wedding! Take a look at this article for some things to think and chat about. This is your weddin...g, but friends and family are a big part too. Let's make sure everyone's happy! http://weddingplannermag.ca/discussions-to-have-before-say/

Even though the weather has not been the best the past few weeks (snow, ice, or all of it together!), I trust that spring is almost here! Almost! And what better time to take some engagement pictures than spring or fall? Avangarde Photography had kindly included a list of possible engagement or wedding photo Toronto locations on their website. I love how they included a brief description of each location, group suitability, indoor grounds availability and pricing too! Thank ...you, Avangard team for being so considerate to the bride and grooms, and making planning much easier for us planners! https://www.avangardphoto.com//wedding-photography-locati/

Have you thought of how your ceremony will look like? A ceremony backdrop is a key part of setting the tone of your wedding. It should create the "wow" effect when your guests enter the chapel or ceremony room. It can be a rustic wow, an elegant wow, floral wow, etc. Take a look at this blog for some inspiration and decide which wow effect you want as the backdrop to your vows! http://alexanevents.com//01/spectacular-ceremony-backdrops/

Save the dates are the first communication to your friends and family for your special day! Though it is a much simpler version of your invitation, some thought and work are required as it sets the first tone to your wedding! Some common questions I've been asked: 1. What should I wear for my save the dates?... Anything you prefer is fine! But you do need to coordinate the style and colour of your outfits. This little thought will help your picture look more put together and thought out! 2. How should my picture look? I would recommend posing a picture that fits with your wedding theme. All the aspects of your wedding should fit into your theme - it's the details that matter! For example, if you are hosting a destination wedding, you may want to pose by the beach with a sun hat and an awesome summer look! 3. When should I send out my save the dates? Traditionally, save the dates are sent out 6 months prior to the wedding date. However, some couples prefer to send them out earlier due to the many weddings occurring each year. Destination weddings may be sent out up to 1 year ahead to allow for vacation plans. 4. Cards or e-vites? Save the dates are usually in paper format, just as the invitation and sent via post to relatives and friends. However, in this age of modern technology, a soft copy e-vite or internet event invite are also popular alternatives! Hope this little post will help all you newly engaged on the first step of your stationery! Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions!

By now, you should be working on the details of your wedding! One of those details would be deciding how you want your guests to sign in - one of the first impressions on the day of your wedding!
