To anyone who wishes they were here for May long to rush to their boats to fish perhaps you could console yourself with the knowledge that no-one else will be in their boats this weekend. Maybe by the next weekend the ice will clear enough to get to the north channel then another week to clear the big lake.

The current travel restrictions in the Northern Administrative District of Saskatchewan mean that there won't be any tourists or even summer cabin dwellers here at Denare Beach anytime soon. We hope everyone continues to make it through these times. As of right now we believe that the fishing season will be opened on the 15th as usual, however, we also know that nothing this season will be quite what we consider to be normal. Whenever you are in the area and need us this seas...on we will be open for business but please expect hours and services to be somewhat flexible as we adjust to whatever the current guidelines are.
