Cuba has some good news! Their tough quarantine rules,and excellent medical teams have created very low Covid figures. Parts of the country are now reducing their rules. Very wisely tourism is not open for business.

This is a short film clip of my musical sister , Jane Bunnett with her group Maqueque. The tune is called' La Linea ' . An upbeat jazz approach to the reality of Cuba . [Always long slow lineups to get anything ! Sadly even worse these days . ] This film was made with the added catch of more than safe distancing! Hey! Half of the band was in Havana, the other players here In Ontario. Very tricky teckie stuff ! Bravo!

Here's something postive to do! Please Please ! will you sign this . Instead of mining this famous old growth forest . It is an eco- treasure that could be used for eco -tourism . Still it would create jobs, and income .

This is a very well written, honest !Description of exactly how rough things are in Cuba during the lockdown. These brutal conditions are the results of Cuba's enforced strict covid policies. Plus of course ,the problems of economic blockade. Note!Cuba has extraordinarily low numbers of covid cases!

Times are tough! All the more reason to enjoy a salsa! dancing dog. Check out his tail! He is loving it!

He was so forward thinking ! What great work Eusebio Leal did . Old Havana is facinating ; so interesting to walk around. Lots of street life , inviting restaurants, and culture and live muisc . All rolled into one fabulous part of Havana !

NOPE ! Way too soon for me to book a plane ticket ! However! Cuba is one of the few hot destinations that I would even trust to be super safety serious! And do it .Right!

I have been amazed at the management and results of maintaining low numbers of covid in Cuba. Schools going back will be heavily monitored. Canada could probably learn how to do it better from the Cubans!!!!
