As promised, here is a short video on how to put on your cups. Why cup? Cups are great to help release tight muscles by applying negative pressure. Cupping is a great way to help soften tight posterior neck muscles, shoulders, mid and lower back, glutes, forearms, It bands, claves, even the feet and hands. ... Seniors should use less suction, not more and leave the cup on for a shorter times. if you are new to cupping, less is more. Do not use cupping therapy if you have cancer, organ failure, hemophilia or similar condition, acute infection, use anticoagulants, are pregnant or postpartum, deep vein thrombosis, recent surgery., blister easily.Never cup on arteries, open wounds, skin lesions and inflammations, body orifices, eyes, lymph nodes, varicose veins and bone fractures. Do not cup the front of the neck, behind the knee, inside elbow, groin area, chest area. If you are unsure if you should cup, consult your practitioner. Cupping is a safe and effective tool for overall healthy maintenance of your muscles. I have 4 sets of Fascia Buddy's left. Happy Cupping!

Hope everyone is getting out and enjoying the warmer weather! This time of year, we love to get out out flip flops and sandals. The downside can be that many of us wear shoes that offer little support and stability in the warmer months. This can result in calf, ankle and foot issues. Choose good shoes with support, stability, shock absorption when you are walking, running, even just doing yard work. ... Here are a few stretches you can do to for the calf and foot.

Hello everyone! Hope you are all safe & well! Are you getting into the rhythm of a new routine? It may take a bit,and we will all get there!... Today, I am doing a couple of stretches for the glutes, piriformis, as well as a release. You can use a tennis or lacrosse ball, or a foam roller. I have also included a release for the rhomboids, the muscle along the inner shoulder blades. For those of you with tight neck, shoulders and arms, here is another micromove from Jacquie Ogg and Sherry Ogg-Kabatoff's 2002 Work'ercise. Remember to stretch when your muscles are warm and stetch to the point of a "stretch", not pain. If the area is inflamed and acute, hold off on stretching or using a ball/ roller. These stretches/releases should not cause or increase pain. Stop if you feel anything that does not seem "right." Stay healthy! Was your hands!
