This year we will be collecting non perishable goods for people and pets from today until December 22nd Every 3 items you donate will get you an entry in a draw to win a gift from us This year may be a bit tougher to drop off your goods, if you are not scheduled in, as our door has to remain locked and we are only allowed to permit schedules clients in. Well, all considered, it’s been a productive week and.......we were allowed to shed the shield! One of the most gratifying experiences this week has been hearing the excitement in your voices when you answer our call We have returned at least 200 calls and have over 150 to go, not to mention the calls that we continue to add to the list, daily!! I have been working behind the chair, while Elisabeth has been making all of our calls and informing everyone of the changes they can expect, as they are booked in. Thankyou all so much for keeping your messages brief, as it really helps us get through them much more efficiently, so we can get back to calling and booking

TODAY IS THE DAY!! May19 2020 The day our government said we could open, after telling us that we would definitely not be allowed to open until after May30 We have worked tirelessly to be ready to open for today, as even securing enough PPE to open has been difficult, to say the least. We will be having a very gradual opening. We have a lot of new regulations to abide by so it’s going to be a learning experience for us and for our clients. ... I know we’ve all seen the memes of the stampedes back to the salon but in reality it is going to look a ‘touch’ different We will start by calling all clients who were booked from March 21 on through, and we will also be calling everyone on our list who called in during the closure. We will not be answering the phone today, only calling out so please, only call to add your name and number to the list. It will be a slow start but at least we get to start!! So.......... late yesterday afternoon...... We received notice that the closure order has been cancelled as of May19!!!! WE MADE IT EVERYBODY!! It may not have been pretty, but we made it... At this time, we are still securing our items necessary to re open We will be doing a gradual opening We have been preparing to reopen the whole time we’ve been closed, so many of the changes have already been made, but we are still waiting on a few things to be fully ready. We appreciate your love and support and eagerness to return to the chair and we are looking so forward to seeing half of your faces(As the other half will be covered with a mask according to our new regulations) Please continue to call the salon, to add your name to the list, and we will be contacting you soon! 778-416-5611 To all who were in the schedule, at the time the closure order came into effect, we will be contacting you, so no need for you to call in. Your continued patience is appreciated as we move forward into this uncharted territory

PROGRESS REPORT!!! We finally have had some real progress!! Work Safe BC has just listed our new protocol. We have already been speculating as to what some of these changes may be, (finally able to secure face masks yesterday) and have operations in progress to be certain that we meet all the new guidelines set for us to ensure everyone’s safety upon reopening. At this time, our closure order is still in effect.... We are still waiting for the health authorities of British Columbia to lift the order. (dated to exp. May30) We are rounding the corner everyone!! Again, we will not be booking any appointments until we have a reopening date. See you soon!! See more

Hi All!! Just wanted to give you an update as to what’s going on behind the scenes right now, as we prepare to reset and restart. We are waiting for Work Safe BC to put out a list of our new rules and regulations. We will, most likely, be required to wear PPE and have disposable capes and aprons etc etc. We have ordered supplies to prepare, and are currently on back order lists for many of the items that we may be required to have on hand, before we can open safely, accor...ding to the new protocol. As soon as we are given a concrete date that we are allowed to resume services, we will start booking appointments. Until that time, please feel free to call the Hair Force line @ 778-416-5611 and leave a brief message with your name and phone number. We will record your name and put it on our call list. We are soooo excited to see you all again And we are eager to see what you’ve all done or not done to your hair, while left to your own devices (picture for attention purposes only)

Elisabeth, you have worked very hard to achieve this qualification and we are so proud of you You have grown so much in the last 4 years, starting as our Saturday girl, you quickly became our salon assistant, and then apprentice, and now we stand together as stylists.
