Spring Cleaning Are the screens on your windows so dirty from the winter snow. Try this neat trick, use a lint roller. It should pull most of that dirt right off.

Spring is in the air!! If you are like me spring time is a time to clean those dirty windows. Just mix 1/2 a cup of white vinegar , 1/4 cup of alcohol and 2 cups of water into an empty spray bottle and clean that winter dirt away.

Soap scum on your rubber ducky? Just give a quick soak in vinegar and it should be ready to go.

Smelly garbage pail? Try using Borax and water to clean it then after it's clean just sprinkle some Borax in the bottom to deodorize it.

Pretty soon we are going to have warmer weather and with that come Ants. Ants can be a problem but I have a quick and easy solution using Borax and sugar. If you mix equal parts and pour it at the areas you feel they are getting access in the house this should take of the problem.

Do you have markers stains especially permanent marker? Surprisingly, vegetable oil takes it off many surfaces, even skin.

Do you have heel scuffs on your vinyl floors? Try rubbing them with a tennis ball.

Soap scum on your shower? Try scrapping it with a plastic putty knife. Takes a little elbow grease but gets the job done.

Did someone leave a coffee mug on the table without a coaster? Now you have a stain ring. Try toothpaste, it should take that coffee stain right out.

Do you have marker stains on your wood floor or furniture? Toothpaste is a handy cleaner for that.

Do you have hard water spots or stains on your glasses? Here's a 5 minute fix that will have your drinking glasses looking sparkling clean again. Pour white vinegar into your glass or glasses and let them soak for 5 minutes and then rinse clean. Spectacular !!

Is your drain clogged or not draining? Try using 2 cups of boiling white vinegar and a cup of salt. Bring the vinegar to a boil and then pour the cup of salt down the drain followed by the boiling vinegar. Let it do it's magic and then run the hot water down the drain to get it unclogged.

Is your bed smelling a little stale these days? Try using a bit of baking soda and sprinkle it on your mattress. Let it stand for about an hour or so then vacuum it up. You should have a nice smelling bed and vacuum cleaner when you're done.

Are you crying over your dirty windows? Try cleaning them with sparkling water and a soft cloth or newspaper.

Cleaning tip: Fill your toilet as high as possible with water, throw some antacid tablets in and let them do there work.

Wanna clean that toothbrush holder? Simple, just throw it in the dishwasher.

This is a great little trick to keep your toilet brush smelling clean and fresh. Just add a bit of all purpose cleaner to the brush holder. This should keep it clean as well as smelling fresh.

Here's a really simple trick for cleaning those hard water stains on your metal faucets, Just rub a slice of lemon on it and the acid should help remove it.

CLEAN SHOWER SCUM All you need to do is fill a dish wand 1/2 with vinegar and 1/2 with dish soap then scrub your shower. Works like a charm.
