Calling all storytellers! We've got a big announcement, so please listen up: Suspicious Fish is going ONLINE!!!... Beginning Saturday, January 23rd (from 11:30am-1pm) Suspicious Fish will be hosting three separate online storytelling workshops for the following groups: Youth age 8-12 Teens Adults of all ages! The workshops will run for ten consecutive Saturdays for registered participants. Postings for registration will be available in the next two days. There will be ten spaces open for each group so keep an eye out (not literally, keep your eyes inside your head). See you soon!

Today RECLAIM literacy is kicking off their celebration of Early Childhood Week by giving US the opportunity to share our story with their community! A few ...months ago Joy Fyckes, Executive Director at RECLAIM, reached out to me and asked if I could provide them with a short video of me reading the book. They would use this recording to share the gift and joy of reading with their audience. We could not be more proud to help with this initiative! Want to know more about his unique non for profit? Keep reading . RECLAIM provides free and confidential literacy services to the English-speaking population of greater Montreal. Using trained volunteers, the organization focuses on providing tutoring services tailored to individual learners' needs in an understanding and supportive environment. Aujourd'hui, RECLAIM literacy commence la célébration de la Semaine de la petite enfance en nous donnant l'occasion de partager notre histoire avec leur communauté ! Il y a quelques mois, Joy Fyckes, directrice exécutive de RECLAIM, m'a contactée et m'a demandé si je pouvais leur fournir une courte vidéo de ma lecture du livre. Hello all, Sadly, due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, we have to formally cancel the Erin Sports Association’s annual American Thanksgiving fundraiser to bene...fit our Children’s Christmas Party. Even though the event is not happening in person, we are still hoping to support those in need for the holidays. This year, more than ever, we want to make sure that every child gets to enjoy Christmas. We are aiming to sponsor 100 local children and we are counting on community support to help make this happen. A donation of $35 will help provide a Christmas gift for one local child. Furthermore, in the coming weeks, we will be announcing a raffle fundraiser in support of our annual Christmas basket distribution.
