The poppy continues to be a symbol of remembrance, honouring the lives who fought for our freedom. Seemingly-lifeless fields post World War 1 bloomed that bright red "Flanders" poppies, offering hope, demonstrating resilience. Poppies continued to travel around the world, so did war, life, love and lost. And what continues to come about it is a mixed feeling of honour, grief and gratitude.... Lest we forget. @isshamarie
