New work in progress. I have wanted to do a series on older couples for some time. Little did I know that I would be the subject of my own paintings. Life is full of surprises though and this year more than most. I found myself, on my 68th birthday, doing a nude photoshoot at Wreck Beach in Vancouver with this wonderful man who is a new love but an old friend. It was the most beautiful experience ever - captured by the amazing photographer Vince Hemingson.... Here is the start of that new series 'Afloat'.
