Hello to all you my very great Beauty BFFs!!! Do you ever soak in a lush scent filled tub of hot goodness? I light a few candles for good measure. I had a friend pop in this morning for curbise pickup and our conversation veered to self-care.... You guys it's ok to not be ok. It's important to know that you can take it one step out of time. One hour at a time. Make sure you do things that make you feel good. And if after you do that you still don't feel good, do something else. One little act of self-care goes along way. I am mindful to nutrition, exercise and sleep - I can control how, when and if I do that well. I know it's not always perfect but I try my best and show myself some grace when I don't. I also soak it a tub - especially when I need to unwind or have had a stressful day. Soaking in the tub has benefits: Relax Your Mind and Brighten Your Mood. Cleanse and Detoxify. Nourish, Hydrate, and Heal Your Skin. Soothe Sore Muscles. Improve Blood Circulation and Heart Health. Burn Calories. Oh yes it does!!! :) Bubbles AWAY! Boost Your Immune System and Relieve Cold/Flu Symptoms. Sleep Better. Now I do love my Satin Body bubbles... but this week I discovered a new product. I LOOOOOVVVVEEEE the eucalyptus scent!! And the shower pucks are just what I needed to treat myself to a little me time. Check out her products at: https://www.facebook.com/produits.signeem/ She made them for me, and delivered them right to my door! I will order those again :) In the mean time, use whatever you have and SOAK away the day!

I've seen 2 recurring issues over the last 20 years when it comes to skin. I've seen people use the wrong skincare because they don't know their skin type and second I've seen people buy the wrong skincare because they don't know what product to buy to get them the desired result. Do you know your skin type? Let me break it down super simple for you:... 1. Normal -> pores are normal size ... we can barely notice them -> usually blemish free ... except the occasional once a month in the chin area -> will fluctuate at the change of seasons and will probably require you to have 2 different skincare's or add-ons at different times of the year. -> your skincare should aim to maintain and prevent damage 2. Combination -> pores are noticeable in the T-zone and dryer in the outer-portion of the face -> some blemishes especially if skin is not well looked after -> will require you to have a personalized prescription for optimized results... especially at the change of seasons -> your skincare should aim to balance oil and water in the skin 3. Dry (not to be confused with dehydrated) -> pores are small and unnoticeable -> sebum (oil) is minimal -> skin does not produce enough oil -> acid mantle and barrier functions are not healthy -> your skin care should aim to increase oil production and hold moisture -> most common mistake: use harsh mechanical exfoliants to remove the flakiness 4. Oily -> pores are noticeable -> sebum (oil) is very present - even in excess -> prone to blemishes (dead skin and oil buildup in the pores is more common for this skin type) -> your skin care should aim to balance oil production -> most common mistake: avoid harsh cleansers striping your skin of it's natural oil

TBT - that is me 20 years ago --> 2 weeks before I joined an MLM company that changed my life! This was my FIRST plane ride. This was my FIRST vacation from my FIRST job after graduation.... I had visited a local tanning salon before this trip... this is where I met my beauty consultant for the first time. We talked product but I don't remember talking opportunity. She said she'd follow up with me. I had just wrapped up my first year of work as a chemist in a pharmaceutical company. My province was and still is the MOST taxed in North America. I head-over heal flipped when I realised just how much of our income we actually keep after: income tax, provincial and federal tax, house taxes, school taxes, etc. I was looking for a business opportunity --> to side hustle and save on taxes! That lady didn't know!!!! I never wore makeup, was girly, worked in sales or was a great people person. Thank God she asked --> Thank God she didn't judge me! When I came home from that trip she called me!!! And the rest as they say is... HISTORY! I joined for tax breaks. I was motivated by travel - on this trip I discovered my bug to see the world and have adventures. I stayed for quality of life: determine my schedule, my priorities, who and how I spend my time with and the financial independance. I am driven to achieve and I love to lead others to unwrap their "why"! You see, once you find your why, how isn't really a problem anymore! #mlm #opportunity #beauty #findyourwhy #leadership #development #sidehustle #directselling #financialindependance #mymklife #potential #focus #bebetter
