Effective January 27, 2017, Animal Rescue and Outreach Society will be closing its "doors." As many of you close to the rescue know, I have been carrying the organization by myself for the last couple of years (with the help of a few good friends/fosters -- you know who you are). Needless to say, I'm exhausted and I need some time for myself, my loved ones, and my own pets. I will be transferring our remaining dogs to Paws in Need Animal Rescue Society, so please reach out to... them with any questions about Chico, Simba, and Radar. Otis will be staying with me for now. I will be moving back to Vancouver, but will leave this page up for the time being. I will be available indefinitely via the [email protected] email account. I will try my best to send an email out to all previous adopters with my updated phone number once I have it: although I will be in Vancouver, I would still like adopters to contact me if they cannot keep their AROS dog and I will do my best to place them or bring them to me in BC. I will be volunteering with my friend's rescue in Vancouver, so please check out Dhana Metta Rescue Society. Thank you everyone for your support over the past five years! Old man Simba had a cancerous tumor removed from his leg today. Big thanks to Lori and Joe who paid for his entire surgery!
