Thanks to Humane Canada for a fabulous National Animal Welfare conference in Montreal this past weekend! Favourite moments were a fantastic presentation on cat behaviour and the closing session with Jonathon Balcombe about the complex emotional and cognitive world of fish! Always so much to learn!!!!

It is so important for organizations to cooperate for the sake of animal welfare. Even with different mandates, structures, and viewpoints - we can make a larger impact for animals collectively than fighting against each other.
