The Canadian real estate market will be driven by so-called move-up and move-over buyers in 2021, and with persistent supply shortages, prices will increase 4-6%, according to a forecast from REMAX Canada.

May this Christmas be bright and cheerful and may the New Year begin on a prosperous note!

Super low amount of new listings this week but sales number is pretty good. Inventory is really shrinking now, only 138 active listings in Guelph. Sellers should take advantage of this because there are still buyers out there looking for homes.

Slightly more listings than last week, but feels like it's slowing down. Sales is less too. We still have 166 active listings on the market in Guelph, not including rural areas.

A big decrease in new listings this week, sales still good. So now we have super low inventory, only 162 active listings in Guelph, 51 in Guelph/Eramosa/Puslinch area.

Slightly more new listings and less sales this week. Interesting to mention that much less properties sold over asking price, and average days on market has increased. Maybe market change is coming? This is just one week data so too early to predict. But will see next week.
