Sometimes if you want great things to happen, you have to step outside of your comfort zone! Tomorrow I step out of mine! As a die hard weight lifting lover, tomorrow I start a new program with a great group of people called 22 Minute Hard Corp - a boot camp style 22 minute workout in addition to my weight lifting regime. Am I nervous? Absolutely! I mean part of the equipment includes a 30 lb sand bag that I had to lug downstairs! What the heck do they want me to do wit...h that? But I know I am so close to achieving my goals and this KICK IN THE PANTS may be just what I need to get into that bikini in 8 weeks! So, who is ready to step outside their comfort zone and join my group? The program is on sale till the end of March! Can you honestly say you don't have 22 minutes to work out? Let's rock this routine together!

I am a big believer in finding out what works for you but I can't say enough about the drink I have every day called Shakeology! I had been working out for 3 months before I started to drink this meal replacement/supplement every day and I cannot say enough great things about it. All of a sudden everything fell into place for me when I started drinking it regularly! The weight started coming off, I felt energized, my cravings were completely gone and I FINALLY got regul...ar (which may not seem like a big deal to many people - but I was only going to the washroom regularly about once a week (I know, TMI))! "I'm too busy!" I hear it all the time. "I just can't find time to work out and prepare meals." You know what? I don't buy it. I worked 120 hours in the last 12 days, have a child who dances 30 hours a week - 6 days a week - who needs to be driven back and forth to the studio every day - who insists on home cooked meals because she wants to "eat healthy" and refuses to grab something on the run - have 3 bearded dragons, two dogs, a cat, a parrot a husband who needs ...to eat and an elderly mother who lives with me who won't eat unless the food is set out in front of her at night. IT'S ABOUT PRIORITIES AND ORGANIZATION! You HAVE TO MAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF. If something happened to me and my health, none of these things would get done and the best way for me to stay healthy is to be eating right, working out and taking care of my overall health. I understand life is busy! I know how it feels to be burning the candle from both ends but believe me - once you are organized, have a plan, a schedule, it works - it really does. My kitchen calendar is colour coded for everything going on in my life and you know what?! I schedule ME time! ME time is making sure I have at least 1/2 hour every day to work out and energize myself - a couple of hours Sunday evening to do meal prep for the upcoming week - anything that makes your life easier! It takes work to be organized and a well thought out plan but once that plan is in place, life gets so much easier and you you feel energized and able to cope better throughout the upcoming week! You know I love my tutu pics - what I find the hardest workout in strength training is my leg workout! I push through because thats where I need the most work! I just love ARM day - wish every day was arm day! What is your favourite workout and what days do you dread?
