ANIW is seeking an experienced and a competent Program Coordinator for our Health and Wellness program that provides support services to immigrant women in the area of violence prevention and mental health. More specifically the program coordinator will be responsible for all program activities including the writing of reports required or any research required for a the comprehensive support service. The program coordinator reports to the Executive Director. Successful can...didate will be offered a one year contract. Education and Experience: University degree in social sciences, adult education, communications, or equivalent combination of experience and skills. Minimum 3 year experience in program development and management. Working knowledge in the area of mental health and violence prevention principles. Experienced in working with diverse population. Have a good network of connections in Calgary’s diverse communities. Knowledge and Skills: Strong organizational, verbal, written communication and presentation skills Excellent interpersonal, collaboration skills and proven ability to work in a culturally diverse environment and different stakeholders. Knowledge of violence prevention and mental health Skilled in using various computer programs and demonstrated ability to engage a diverse audience through creative print, web, and social media strategies Knowledge of the non-profit sector an asset Ability to work independently , collect and maintain program information TO APPLY PLEASE SEND YOUR RESUME TO [email protected]
